I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend, Samster & I went down to Florida to spend it with my family. Since we traveled last weekend to see P’s family in Indiana he couldn’t go out of town again this weekend so we left him behind. It’s funny, P has never really cared about Easter and it never crossed my mind that he’d be upset to not spend Sam’s first one with her (looking back now, helloooo, I so should have thought about it!) but when he was taking us to the airport on Saturday he got so bummed out that we were leaving and he wouldn’t be with us on Easter Sunday. Kids sure do change the way you look at the holidays! We did/still do miss him too.
We’ll be home on Wednesday though which will be here before you know it. In the meantime while we’re in Florida might as well do as Floridians do! Tan! We’ll be spending today by the pool, I’m so excited to take Sam in, she’s never been swimming before but I think she’ll get a big kick out of it. It’s also nice to be around family, I haven’t been home since January and I think that was starting to contribute to my bummed out funk that I was in. Thank you all who commented on my last blog with words of encouragement. Sometimes all you need to hear is that someone else has felt the same way.
Here are a few more pics from yesterday…as you can see Sam had a few wardrobe changes!

Oh, Natasha,
I hope you had a very Happy Easter. I know Kane had to have been upset but, luckily Samster won’t know that Daddy wasn’t part of her day. When she sees her Daddy on Wednesday, I am sure that she will be a happy little princess with a huge smile on her face. Her Easter pictures are adorable! I wondered of you made her dress? I was looking at your blog and saw all of the crafts that you have done…wonderful!!!! You have a lovely family! Enjoy the rest of your visit with your parents and enjoy the sun! It is going to start raining here tonight and on and off tomorrow. The weekend is supposed to really nice so, you will be coming back to great weather (fingers crossed this forecast doesn’t change)! Have a safe trip home. Kisses to samster and take care.
