Perhaps it’s not such a bad idea…just screw all this teething crap and buy the kid some falsies.
Hmmm…
Well, back in reality here’s what’s going on. Sam has been teething for about 2 weeks now. She’s up ALL NIGHT LONG. Literally, waking every 2 hrs like a newborn. Finally I went to the pediatrician yesterday just to make sure something else wasn’t going on and guess what?
She’s got her first ear infection. Ugh.
Then as if that wasn’t bad enough I haven’t been giving her the correct dose of infant Tylenol. She’s quite a bit heavier since the last time we were there and it didn’t even cross my sleep deprived mind that she might need a different dosage. So basically for the last two weeks my baby (along with myself and husband and probably even the dogs) have been completely miserable because poor thing is cutting two teeth, has an ear infection and has basically been doing it without any pain meds. I feel SO guilty.
So you probably won’t hear from me too much this week, at least until the antibiotics kick in. Hopefully things will get back to normal soon. Hopefully.

Don’t feel bad, we’re going through the same thing with our 7month old! And to make things worse, I found out I wasn’t feeding her enough, hence the waking up in the middle of the night! Poor thing was starving..yes, I get the Mom of the year award! lol Good Luck!

Natasha at the drug store they see these homopathic tablets that work miracles I give them to Kristian and it seems to help a lot! Also another suggestion is to put a wet wash cloth in the freezer and then give it to her and she won’t chew on everything in site. Im sure that you take great care of her and try not to expose her to eliments where she may have gotten this but many times especially when they are teething their sinus passages get clogged with the saliva causing the ear infection. If you can try to elevate the head part of the bed by placing pillows in between the crib and the mattress this will help her drain a little better. I have come to realize that Motrin morks better then the Tynenol does.
Good Luck!
