Today we finally had some of Samster’s little friends over for a belated bday party…
(if you’re new to the blog click here to find out why we had to spend her 1st bday in the ER)
It was SO much fun but was also kind of a last minute get together, here’s some photos and a few tips for throwing a last minute playdate/party…
Samster waiting for her guests…
Awhile ago I bought a giant bag of ball pit balls to throw in her baby pool, the kids always seem to like this at playplaces so I figured it’d be a good way to entertain them.
Time for cake!!
Lindsey: “YUMMM, icing!”
Kiki: “Yes, I believe it’s buttercream, delish!”
Samster: “Eh. Unimpressed.”
Another tip? Throw everything in bowls, makes it look like you planned it out, I grabbed whatever was in the pantry…juice boxes, goldfish, chips…
I also always keep some Lipton French Onion packets in my pantry, they’re awesome for the crockpot and also just mix one with sour cream for homemade french onion dip, so good!
Here are the ball pit balls I used, this is the cheapest I found them…
Have a great weekend!!!
Our Family
Genius, heh? I think not- but thanks! I would probably turn the dress around.. so the buttons were in the back….. and simply make two straps out of the fabrics you used….. and do it so its straight across the chest.. like it looks to be now…. kind of like the rockstar baby dress.. but not quite. But I know nothing about sewing.. really… and YES! I got my sewing machine today.. the Mom bought it for my birthday! Its a brother something or rather (can't remember all the numbersin the model exactly) but I'm in love. I hope to have new pics posted this weekend! Good luck on the dress!
