We’ve been using Born Free bottles for Sam for quite awhile now because of what I had heard about BPA (Bishenol A) being suspected of being leaked into milk when the bottles are heated. Well it looks like the major bottle manufacturers are finally taking heed and are going to stop producing bottles with BPA. Some people looked at me like I was crazy for buying a $10 BPA free bottle but now I’m so glad I did! Also there are other cheaper options out there too, glass bottles are great and also I know Munchkin makes BPA free stuff at Target that’s more inexpensive.
Here’s the article if you want to know more, just thought I’d share with my mommy friends!

They also briefly mention that Phalates are coming up more & more as being legitimately harmful. They’re used in lotions, shampoos & body wash type of products and can be absorbed through your skin. We use California Baby on Sam which was hard for me at first because I just love the Johnson’s baby smell but now I’m hooked on the “Calming” Cali Baby scent. I even just ordered room diffusers with it! But anyway, if you’re interested in knowing more about this stuff check out this site my friend Brooke sent me, very informative!
