Every year for my birthday my wonderful father-in-law and his wife send me a giftcard to Nordstrom, they know that’s my personal haven and I must say I SO look forward to it. This year I had already decided that I was going to invest in a good pair of shoes for the summer. Shoes have always been my downfall. Even when I was ramen noodle broke in college I still managed to have beautiful shoes on my feet. (sorry about the inherited debt there boo)

Now a year or two ago when I thought of new summer shoes I’d be looking for sexy, hot and sultry sandals. These Tory Burch sandals would’ve made me drool…
But now, sigh, now the only word I could think of when I entered Tyson’s Nordstrom shoe department was COMFORT. Show me something I can wear to My Gym, Whole Foods and that will be comfortable while wearing a baby in a sling, a diaper bag on the shoulder & while pushing a stroller. The picture really doesn’t do them justice, they are the CUTEST shimmery bronze color and MY OH MY are they comfortable! Seriously, I’m in love. They’re the Dansko Sela Crinkle Patent & are just the right amount of height so I don’t feel frumpy but completely perfect for wearing all day long with Samster. They also come in red shimmery patent which I would’ve scooped up if they’d had my size. Just thought I’d share for all you cutesy moms who are missing the days of beautiful summer sandals. They may not be 3″ Manolos but they’re just what I needed (:
