“Hello Natasha! This may seem silly of me to ask, but how do you know what to dress Sam in for the Fall? I have two boys and my 13 month old is my first girl. Summer was easy–it was dresses, dresses and more dresses. Now it’s getting cold, is it dumb that I can’t seem to find cute outfits? My husband says I’m being to girly, but she is the princess of the house afterall!!! She has to look good!!! So, any suggestions???

I feel ya, summer is so much easier with sundresses and tanks! First thing that comes to mind is this tutorial I did back in the springtime for sewing long sleeves onto your short sleeve onesies, but if you don’t feel like sewing here a few outfits I’ve been putting on Samster…
I found some cute sweatsuits and sweaters for sale at Gymboree.
The hoodie is on sale for $19 and they also have the matching sweatpants for $11. There are also some other cords, pants & long sleeve tees on sale that are worth checking out.
My other trick while it’s just cool and not too cold is to grab some Circo leggings from Target and stick them under her summer skirts like the pic in this post. They also have some $3 long sleeve onesies by Cherokee that come in pretty colors. (in stores only)
My final favorite for baby clothes in the fall? Without a doubt Baby Gap. The best part of Baby Gap? You can fall in love with a piece from a new collection and almost ALWAYS get it on the sale rack 2 wks later. I never even bother looking around there anymore, just head straight to the sales rack and stock on up. That velour one-piece with the faux long sleeves…on sale…go ahead, take a peek…
Hope that helps…goodness knows these young fashionistas of ours need to look cute!
