Sorry, fell asleep for a minute there.
Seriously though, sleep training sucks. Sam is just not getting it and my entire life has been put on hold in the meantime. Thank goodness my MIL (aka angel from above) is here visiting. She helped out with Sam last night to see if maybe Sam would go back to sleep for someone other than me. It somewhat worked, she didn’t scream her head off all night long like she did two nights ago but she did still wake up every hour and sit straight up in bed. I’m having a hard time believing that tonight (night 4) or some night soon she’s just going to magically get it and sleep through the night but that’s what everyone keeps telling me. We aren’t letting her ‘cry it out’ according the Ferber method but we also aren’t taking her out of her crib at all. Just gently laying her back down over and over and over and over.
Say a little prayer for the Samster Mommy household tonight. We need this little peanut to break soon.
Needless to say I have absolutely no energy to paint the nursery or really do much more than give a blank stare and drool. Although remember when I said I made Sam a couple of headbands at the beginning of the week? I’ll go ahead and post those next for a little craft tidbit to get us through the sleep training.

Hang in there Natasha! Consistency is key.

Hey Natasha,
I hope all is well, one thing that you may want to try and you may be doing it already is giving her a bath right before bedtime. Also when she pops up and you go to lay her back down rub her back and softly sing to her. This is calm her down, also I dont know if she is teething but we noticed with Kristian and teething he seems not to sleep as well.
Keep it up!!
