To remember our first beach vacation I decided to make this Seastar Applique and posted the template below so you can create your own (print at full page size), I used wonder under to adhere it and then used embroidery floss to make the face and border texture. (Tip- I got a whole bunch of these tanks in 12 mths for this year and 2t for next year at Target, they’re Circo brand and are only $2 each, perfect for embellishing and what a deal, woohoo!)Here are a few pictures from our vacation so far, the weather has been pretty crappy but hey, it’s the beach and I’ll take it! We’re staying on an island off the west coast of Florida, it’s really private which is nice but you can’t bring cars so we’re kind of stuck. Which honestly is actually kind of a relief. We filled up the kitchen with groceries, loaded up on sunscreen and settled in for 4 days of doing nothing. Sighhh, sweet relaxation. Well, relaxation with an 11 mth old but hey, it’s still technically vacation!Daddy making a “Samcastle”

Natasha-
I want to wish you the best of luck with your meds and tell you that it will get better. I started on Cymbalta two years ago and the side effects were harsh in the beginning. Today I have no side effects and my anxiety level is at an all time low. During the past two years, I have started my Master's Degree, started the National Board Certification Process, and took on running a tutoring program as a part-time job. My full time job as a first grade teacher continues to fill me with joy. You will return to your old self with time. Miranda

I hope you had a very relaxing vacation. The one picture of Samster and Kane is cute. Sam looks like she was none too happy!? The picture of you and Samster is beautiful. Nothing like a mommy and child pic. I hope your meds work for you soon. I know I took Zoloft (and I am actually thinking maybe I should get on it again). It makes you very tired in the beginning but, it does work.
