I’m SO SO excited about this! The wonderful Sarah from Blogstar approached me awhile back to see if I’d be willing to contribute a project for an e-book she was putting together. I, of course, was more than willing to participate (I believe I did a little happy dance around my living room) & this past week the book came out. You can view it as part of a daily slideshow website called Kirtsy via this link. A lovely company called giggle sponsored our little project. Giggle is one of those fabulous flash sale sites except it’s all wonderful kid & baby products. I knew I already loved Giggle just because they’re awesome enough to appreciate the craft community but then I checked out the site & love them even more because they actually offer great products! Even better if you sign up for their email updates via the Sunday Afternoon Craft book you’ll get a $10 off promo code towards any purchase, how cool is that?
Here’s my little project for the book, I call it “Family Wall Art”
The entire canvas is covered in our handprints & a few pawprints from the mutts, I’m completely smitten with it. You can see the full tutorial here…
So if you have a sec & you wouldn’t mind please check out all the fabulous tutorials (there’s some great ones in there!) & sign up for the giggle emails. You’ll get $10 off & can always unsubscribe later. Although you probably won’t. (;

LOVE THIS! This is so cool and could be done in any color scheme or with just a baby’s name and their prints or by using your last name…ooh, this is now on my to-do list!!
p.s. Love the pic of your dog. Don’t you love when they give you the “Why are you doing this to me and why am I letting you do it?” look?!?

Love the family wall art. Please tell me you have a tutorial for the teal frames hanging above the couch! I MUST do this for my 4 month old’s room. I thinking a photo every few months (3, 6, 9, 12) would be great all in a row!

I love this idea, am seriously considering trying this…. I already have four square canvasses that have been lurking since my 5 year old was born. Could do one for each member of the family with our initial in the centre, one for each letter of our surname… oooo need to get thinking!
Thanks for the inspiration, as always!
