I’m guessing if the world is ending I might not be able to get my roots touched up for a bit.

This stuff is AMAZEBALLS. Not only is it an aerosol dry shampoo that does a fantastic job of disguising greasy hair but it also gives you major volume. Fabulous for getting that perfectly messy ponytail that has some lift at the crown. But alas I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet…the spray is colored & covers up your roots! It comes in brown, black, blonde, red & silver. At about $35 for a 4oz can it is a tad pricey but one can lasts me a good 3+ months. (some salons also sell a cheaper 1 oz version)
Only tip…don’t use it on a rainy day or when you might be partaking in water activities. You’ll end up with brown drips down your forehead. Learned that one the hard way…
If you want a cheap alternative, I use Sauve’s Dry Shampoo almost daily. I have crazy oily roots but dry ends, so I hate shampooing everyday. But unless I wanna gross peeps out, it’s a necessity. In the morning, once washed, dried, and styled, I spray it to combat the onset of grease. And then I give it another blast before I go to bed. No oil, plenty of volume and grip- perfect for a quick run through with the curling iron the next day and I get those messy-I-just-woke-up-but-my-hair-is-awesomely-wavey waves. Granted, it’s not colored, but it works for me. 🙂
It’s also great to use when traveling to countries that may have difficult water situations or you can’t get a long enough shower to really wash your hair. I love this too, and it’s worth the money for all those reasons!
So I can spray this on my daughter as I chase her around listening to “No Hair Wash Day!” being screamed in my ears, and know that her hair will be clean-ish?
