We’re taking Samster to Disney & I really wanted to make her a special outfit for the park, I wanted it to be a Disney character but also really light & comfy, no fancy poofy princess dress. (Florida can already be uncomfortably hot in April) I started off with the idea of a Snow White dress but as I sketched it out I just thought it looked more like a superhero than Snow White. That’s when I came up with this Tinkerbell romper and I gotta say I LOVVVE IT!
It’s so easy too! It’s made from two XL adult knit tees & I’m hoping to get enough time tomorrow to write out an in depth tutorial for making one with or without the Tinkerbell skirt. (the skirt is just attached to the knit romper at the end…also, you only need one adult tee if you’re not making the Tinkerbell skirt)
Soooo, do you like??

Awesome idea! It looks fabulous!
I don't like it at all. I LOVE it! Samster looks incredibly cute in her new outfit. My 5 year old is going to request (read: demand) that I make her one as well, so that tute would be a welcome addition to my feed reader. (Not that all your posts aren't welcome but I digress.)
I'd also like to give you a huge pat-on-the-back for having such a happy child. You are doing something absolutely wonderful in parenting that baby. Keep up the good work, Natasha.
BEYOND adorable!! Love her hair too. So cute!
Your little girl is incredibly gorgeous, as well as this outfit! I'm looking forward to the tutorial! I think mine would look cute as well in this little dress. Seems perfect for summertime. I'll keep an eye open for green tees/fabric.
I also love how it's not over-the-top. Really great job!
Oh wow, I can't handle how cute this is!!!!
That is ADORABLE! Can't wait for the tute
I love it, love it, love it!!! That is perfect! it's comfy and totally cute! Seriously…you did an amazing job! Little Samster is adorable!!!
Oh my gosh!! SO Cute. I wish my little girl was big enough for it. I'll have to remember this!
This is amazing! You should sell these i would be the first in line π
Way cute! I can't wait for the tutorial. I like the skirt on it & if done in a different color it could just be generic fairy skirt
Way cute! I can't wait for the tutorial. I like the skirt on it & if done in a different color it could just be generic fairy skirt
This is SO freaking cute. Now you just need to add some pom poms to some little ballet flats and you're all set. π
Love it! You did a great job! She's going to be the cutest kid at Disney!
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!! This is so awesome!!!!! My daughter wants to be snow white! We are going for her birthday in September and we are doing the whole Bippity Boppity Boutique and dinner with the princesses – I might call on your inspiration to come up with something that isn't a hot poly mess!
GREAT JOB! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Super cute! I love it!
I recently made a Minnie Mouse type outfit for my daughter for a trip to Disney. The look on her face when she saw that she matched Minnie was priceless.
That is the cutest thing I've seen!! I love it!
Love it! You really make me want to go out and buy a sewing machine, but then I'd have to learn to use it! How did you put the 3 picture collage together? You have a Mac, don't you?? What cool picture software program do you have?
Actually I just used Picasa, it's free for download for google and I like it SO much better than iPhoto, the program that came with my mac. It has a "Collage" button that let's you put any amount of pics you want into one collage. Sooooo easy and use friendly. Google and I are buddies. (although I do fear that one day they may try to take over the Earth)
I'm waiting for a tutorial on this amazingly cute little outfit!!!
I. LOVE. IT. This is one of the cutest things I have ever seen! Great job! : )

That is adorable! Cutest little Tinkerbell I have ever seen! Would love a tutorial!
My husband walked by the screen as I was reading your post and he said "wow Tinkerbell" I said "I know isn't it cute?" He nodded and then when I told him you made it he was really excited. He wants me to become as good as you "someday". Loved it!

Oh my gosh, Natasha! This is one of my absolute favorites that you have made – I am waiting with bated breath for the tutorial!!! My daughter is way too tiny right now – only 4 months – but next summer she is sooooo getting one of these. Of course with the tinkerbell skirt. It's the bomb. Good lord you and your daughter are too cute for words… Will you be my mom???
LOVE IT! We just got back from DisneyWorld in March and had a BLAST! My girls were dressed as princesses/tinkerbell/minnie mouse depending on the day. But nothing as cute as this (just the Target dress up dresses/junk food tees).
Be sure to get Samster on Buzz Lightyear (it's not just for BOYS).
Super cute. She'd give the real Tinkerbell a run for her money in Disneyland. Hope she loves it… look forward to hearing all about it.
The dress is cute, but that model. She is so cute!!!
Love it!
LOVE this! The romper is SO cute – and I love that it is not your typical-disney-outfit! Way to go! Tutorial PLEASE!

Your daughter is the most adorable little girl ever!!! I don't mean to sound like a creeper, but she is "bite-ably cute" – her perfectly chubby little cheeks and arms. I bet people stop you all the time in public to just tell you how cute she is. Good work! π
Sam looks just like Kane!! She is so cute in that adorable romper! At the age she is now she will love Disney!!

Couldn't be cuter!!! Great idea to make it Disney themed!
That is so cute!! She is going to look so great at Disneyland wearing that.
So cute – it'll look great at the park and it's obviously inspired by Tinkerbell but I love how it's not too character-y – simple and sweet. Would love a tutorial! just made my first top with shirring and have been trying to figure out on my own how to make it into a romper. Thanks!
Cutest outfit EVER!
too cute and perfecttt

Good work! π
But probably because of the model!!
Oh Wow, I love it so much!
wow! this is great! if you DO get a chance to share 'how to'… my daughter will LOVE it!
Oh My Gosh! I want one in MY SIZE!! Is that even a possibility? (I know I would need to buy jersey material instead of using T-shirts, but that would be so cute and fun in the summer over a swimming suit!)
I am in love with your t-shirt things for little kids! I am hoping I get enough guts to actually try some things and can I just say that I am loving the elastic thread- I have never heard of it, but it just sounds like the answer to so many of my problems!
I really gotta learn to sew better! You are so inspirational in that department!
