I don’t know what it is about Valentine’s Day but it’s without a doubt my favorite holiday to craft for.
Maybe it’s the red, pink & white combo or maybe that it’s my excuse to whip out a doily, whatever the reason I just can’t get enough of the girly, lovey-dovey projects. I mean, when have you ever known me to actually make something for a holiday sooner than the week before?
Today I made the No-Sew Posey Headbands below for the Kaneshow blog & if you haven’t seen yet, I’ve posted a Valentine’s Craft board on my Pinterest account & below are a few from there as well. If you have a V-day project that you love please leave a link to it in the comments below, bonus points if it’s pink, I’m always a sucker for pink.

I love that Samantha looks all “woohoo, I’m a model, take my picture!” And Sophie looks like “can you stop taking my picture and freaking pick me up now?”

Looks cute! Cant wait to make one for my little girl. Where did you get the red elastic?
Natasha
I believe I got it a g-street fabric in Rockville. They have an AMAZING selection of colored elastics, they sell them by the yard too so you don’t have spend much at all!

Hi Natasha: these ideas are almost adorable as your girls! I heard your hubby talking about your blog on the radio And am so happy to be a daily follower.
Natasha
Aw, thank you so much Brooke!
Clare
You are so creative! Just found your (new) blog and I love it!

I love your website and all of the projects you do! One question though, where do you find the elastics for the headbands you make? I haves 7 month old that I want to try some of yur projects on, but the only elastics I have found are just plain white… The kind most people put hidden inside clothes. I’ve looked in Micheals, JoAnn Fabrics, Hancock Fabrics, and I’m just not sure where else to search!
Thank you!
Natasha
You know I had that same problem…
If you’re local I found a GREAT assortment at G-street fabrics in Rockville. You get it cut by the yard & it’s super cheap that way, love it.
If you’re not local (or don’t mind ordering online) I have used elastics from http://www.bracomponents.com/ and highly recommend them. They have every color under the sun & I’ve found them to be nice & soft. Good luck! Send along pics when you make some, ok? I love seeing what other moms craft up! (:
