We’re heading home tomorrow & I’m filled with the bittersweet taste that always comes over me when it’s time to leave home to go back home. Half relieved to be back in my house with my stuff & my beloved routine while a sad pit sits in my stomach at the reality of taking the girls away from their extended family for another month or two. What can you do though, right? At least we’re blessed enough to visit so often & I do take some comfort in knowing that the girls are making such fun memories from their ‘trips to grandma’s house’.
I’ll be back to blogging as usual next week since the girl’s will be back in school. In the meantime to give you a few pink monster morsels here’s what I wrote this past week in other nooks of the internet…in case you missed them. (Hm, just realized there’s only two…looks like I’ve been vacationing more than I realized!)

Did you guys have Spring Break this week too? Do anything fun??
Angela
I understand the bittersweet feeling. I love living in Maryland, but Florida is definitely home in my heart. And you should feel very blessed to be able to visit so frequently. We can only afford to go home once a year, so the goodbyes are so, so sad.

Spring break this year was busy with all of my family chasing around a 20 month old, trying to keep her from pulling her stitches out of her lip. Talk about a tiring 4 days! Glad to see you and your family had so much fun in Fl!
Emma
I totally feel your pain and then some! My family are all in England so my son only gets to see his grandparents once a year, it’s very hard but gives you something to look forward to. (This is my first comment – LOVE your blog)

Trish

How is she so cute?! It just doesn’t make any sense. Sometimes I think you have CGI children.
In other words, that picture is priceless.
Natasha
Omgosh, CGI children would have a ‘mute’ option.

I saw your hair on Instagram- it’s fantastic! I very well may show it to my hairdresser for “summer hair” inspiration (I hope that isn’t creepy……)
Natasha
Not creepy at all! I’ll be sure to tell my hairdresser, what a compliment!
